The Plumas Sierra County Fairgrounds is the premier meeting place for conferences, weddings, birthdays, trade shows and special events. It has 62 acres of buildings and open space that can accommodate everything from concerts to ropings. Click on the pictures below to learn more about each building and area to see if it's right for your plans. As always, if you have any questions, please call the Fair office at 530-283-6272 or complete a Facility Rental Form and turn it in to the office.
Hourly rates available with a 4 hour minimum. Deposits vary, please call. Use the After Event Check List to make sure you return the facility in its original state so no money is withheld from your deposit.

Details, Details...All renters must supply the Fair with proof of liability insurance. Renters will need to furnish the Fair with a Certificate of Insurance in compliance with the CFSA Insurance Statement. A copy of the CFSA Insurance Statement may be obtained from the Fair Office or under Forms & Applications. Insurance may be secured through the Fair or you may provide your own through your insurance agent. You will need a CERTIFIED CHECK OR MONEY ORDER PAY-ABLE TO "C.F.S.A.", not the Plumas Sierra County Fair, for payment of CFSA Insurance. Cost of insurance is dependent on how many people will be attending your event. For more information please contact the Fair Office at 530-283-6272 or CFSA at 916-263-6145.
Building layouts for your event need to be received at least one week before your event to allow time for setup. Gate keys are provided along with building keys. All keys must be returned to the Fair Office desk or to the drop box provided at the front of the office. A portion of your security deposit will be forfeited if keys are not returned in a timely manner. Please leave all buildings locked. If the gates are open upon your arrival, please leave them open and if they are locked, please lock them at the end of your event. All buildings are to be left with the lights out and temperature set at 60 degrees in the winter and off in the summer. Please be aware that other events may be taking place on the grounds during the time of your rental. |
